Leased Vehicles And Automotive Insurance
People have different opinions when it comes to leasing a vehicle and buying a vehicle, but here’s the basic gist of it: buying a vehicle differs from leasing a vehicle in that buying a vehicle requires you to pay for the entire vehicle, whereas leasing a vehicle requires you to pay for the amount of the vehicle you “use up” during a set period of time. Simply put, once the time period is up the person leasing the vehicle may decide to buy the vehicle, or move on.
There’s no difference, however, in purchasing automotive insurance for bought and leased vehicles. If you lease a vehicle and finance through the dealer or a bank, you’re still required to purchase automotive insurance for your leased vehicle. This version of Honda Civic is the first version came with a B16A engine, sporty interior and a fully modified suspension for the additional horsepower.
Later in the year 1992, the first type-R product line was released to the market. It is the special edition Honda NSX type-R. Honda produced the NSX-R in a limited amount and the car weight was reduced from 1,350 kilograms to 1,230 kilograms.
The type-R was well known for being a modified version for the Honda Civic EK body and the Honda Integra, a sport from the same fundamental during 1,998,000-2,500,000 Yen or only about 670,000-825,000 THB while the NSX reach 10 million yen or about 3 million baht, an affordable price for middle class people who are addicted to speed.
The Civic type-R under body code EK9 comes with a B16B engine which was modified for additional horsepower, the 1.6 liters engine with the total amount of 185 horsepower. It is a well recognized engine without the air compression system or known as NA for being one of the best engines that can produce the most horsepower per 1 liter engine. While the DC2 Integra with a B18C-R engine, 1.8 liters and 200 horsepower with a 5 speed manual transmission.
5 years later, the code EK9 and DC2 sill recognize by the Honda Civic and Integra fans but the Honda motor company doesn’t stop so they came out with the new EP3 Civic and DC5 Integra with the newly change engine from the B family engine to the K20A, 2.0 liters i-VTEC which can yield approximately about 200 to 220 horsepower.

Less Than 150,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Units Sold In The Usa During 2006
With the introduction of the first Grand Cherokee, Jeep defined and created the luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) market, but in spite of this grand tradition the model is currently experiencing some difficulties. Jeep not only defined what an SUV was, it was the SUV market in the USA with the inception of the Cherokee and later on Grand Cherokee. This is no longer the case. The growing list of strong competition has intensified, and along with high fuel prices, this has lead to some serious challenges to Chrysler in spite of Jeep’s combination of legendary 4x4 capabilities, on and off-road refinements, and technological innovations.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee was one of the pioneering SUVs that ushered in the modern SUV market in the early 1990s. The Grand Cherokee certainly met all of these requirements and, we feel that Jeep continues with this tradition in its current Grand Cherokee version.
The 2005/2006 version of the Grand Cherokee, which is the model’s 3rd generation, is one of the best SUVs made, and as one critic put it “arguably the most desirable”. With some of the outstanding available features of full-time four-wheel drive, independent front suspension, rack and pinion steering, a five-speed transmission, and an available 5.7-Liter HEMI V-8 with MDS, which deactivates up to 8 cylinders when not needed for better gas mileage performance, the Grand Cherokee is featured packed. Safety features include Electronic Stability Program, SmartBeam ™ headlamps that automatically and quickly adjust high-beam brightness and intensity, All-Speed Traction Control System, and advanced multi-stage air bags with an Occupant Classification System. The look and feel of the body was also updated to give it an edgy angular look, which looks new and contemporary while retaining that Grand Cherokee style with the famous 7-slot Jeep grille. Chrysler also gave the Grand Cherokee an updated suspension system that delivers better corning turning performance and a tighter turning radius.
In spite of these top-of-the-line features, Grand Cherokee sales in the USA for 2006 (ending December 31, 2006) were 139,148 units, which were down from 213,584 in 2005. This represents a decline of 35%. Jeep’s smaller SUV, the Liberty, also saw its numbers drop dramatically in 2006 with unit sales of 133,557 versus unit sales of 166,883 for 2005, a 20% decline. While it doesn’t necessarily make Chrysler feel any better, they were not alone in decreased sales in the SUV segment. Other USA car manufacturers also experienced declines. Ford experienced a 25% drop in its SUV sales for the USA, while GM’s truck sales were down 9.6% (2,499,269 for 2006 versus 2,765,809) (detailed performance reports for GM’s SUVs was not available). The decline in SUV sales, especially mid-range models, was affected by the dramatic price increases in gasoline during 2006. This along with luxury SUV models by BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, and Porshe, and mid-priced SUVs by Mitsubishi, Toyota and others experiencing a surge in popularity is creating a sizable challenge to Chrysler. Newspaper, which was once widely used when painting cars proved too porous for this purpose and often resulted in paint bleed-through. The poly coating in masking paper offers complete protection for the surfaces it is applied to if it is applied correctly. Masking products provide the maximum penetration resistance from the harsh solvents used in automobile sealers, lacquers, enamel paints and clear coat products. It eliminates dust contamination from fibers and performs well, even during wet sanding. Masking products easily withstand assaults from the powerful exhaust fans used to dry the automobiles after painting.
Masking paper must be carefully applied to all non-painted surfaces and secured in place by masking tape designed for this purpose. These products are available in a variety of widths to fit any job. Narrow tape is best suited for applying around curves. Wide versions are more suitable for quickly covering large areas of the automobile. A variety of tools such as a masking paper dispenser, speed up the job and simplify the application process. Masking dispensers are available as hand-held implements or sophisticated multi-roll dispensers.
